I help people just like you break free from unhealthy cycles and provide Mental Health Therapy in Largo, Florida and through several states virtually.

My approach is supportive, empowering, and focused on giving you the tools to heal and build the life you truly want.

As member of the queer community myself, it was important for me to create a affirming therapy practice for not only the LGBTQ+ population but by being a safe place for all individuals.

Born and raised on the East coast. I’m not your typical therapist. I am casual over business and truly believe therapy should be real and less about the symptoms and more about the person. My counseling style is down to earth, personable, and humorous. This brave journey can be challenging, so I believe that not taking ourselves too seriously can be truly healing. I have a direct but empathic and creative role in the therapy process. We use a mix of art therapy, homework, cussing (when appropriate), laughter and crying will all be a part of therapy and the long term healing.

What You Can Expect in a Mental Health Therapy Session

A woman sitting on a blue couch in a calm therapy setting, speaking with a therapist.
  • I take a genuine, down-to-earth approach so we can create a real, meaningful connection.

  • I’ll take the time to truly understand you—your story, your challenges, and your strengths.

  • I’ll see the good in you and care about your growth every step of the way.

  • Sometimes, we’ll even laugh (even cuss) therapy doesn’t always have to be serious.

  • I focus on uncovering the root of your behaviors and exploring whether they serve you, without judgment or blame.

  • You can expect honesty, practical tools, and guidance—but never criticism, judgment, or harsh unsolicited advice.

  • Your feedback matters, and I’ll check in regularly to make sure this process works for you.

  • After a few sessions, I’ll summarize the key takeaways and provide a few actionable points for you to work on before our next session.

  • My goal is not to keep you dependent on therapy, but to help you get to a place where you feel empowered, confident, and truly better.

Frequently asked Questions

  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Many families choose private pay because it gives them more privacy, more flexibility, and more control over the type and length of therapy we do together.

If your insurance offers out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit for potential reimbursement. Every plan is different, so I always recommend calling your insurance company to ask what they cover.

Insurance companies require diagnoses, limit the number of sessions, and often dictate what types of therapy can be used. For many teens and young adults, this can create unnecessary barriers to getting the right support.

By remaining private-pay, I’m able to:

    • Protect your privacy

    • Provide therapy without labels when possible

    • Offer individualized treatment without insurance restrictions

    • Decide the length and frequency of sessions based on your needs, not insurance rules

This allows therapy to stay focused on your goals, your growth, and what truly helps.

  • Finding the right fit matters. I offer a consultation call so you can ask questions, share what’s going on, and get a feel for my style. Teens and young adults tend to connect well with me because my approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and focused on creating a safe space to talk openly.

  • Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the client. Teens and adults can expect a mix of conversation, skill-building, and tools to help them cope with stress, anxiety, and real-life situations. My goal is always to create a space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered.
